WorthaByte has no active affiliate relationships. Outbound retailer links are plain, untagged URLs that earn us nothing. We expect to join retailer affiliate programmes in future — that is the intended way to fund the site — and this page will say so, and name them, the moment it happens.
This will never affect our ratings
No retailer can pay for a better score or a higher ranking. DealScore, NAS-Safe Score, and every recommendation are computed from objective, citable factors — price history, manufacturer specs, and verified condition. Whether a listing pays us is not an input to any score, and we do not re-order, boost, or hide drives based on payout.
If a recommendation and our revenue ever point in different directions, the recommendation wins. You can verify the inputs behind any rating on our scoring methodology page.
How you can check this yourself
Follow any “view listing” link and look at the address bar. You will land on a plain retailer product URL with no tracking parameters appended — no tag, campid, or utm_ values, because there is no programme to attribute the click to.
This is enforced, not just promised: an automated check fails our build if any listing on the site ever carries an affiliate URL or a tracking parameter while this page says otherwise.
Retailers we track
WorthaByte currently tracks ServerPartDeals, GoHardDrive, B&H, and eBay. Retailers are chosen because they carry the drives we cover and publish reliable pricing — never because of what they might pay us. Additional retailers may be added over time; this page will be kept current as they are.
Prices and availability change frequently and are not guaranteed. Always confirm the final price and condition with the retailer before purchase.
